COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The course entails theoretical and practical introduction to advance implant reconstruction. Principles for treatment planning, surgery, digital design, and modeless all-digital step-by-step fabrication of interim and final prosthesis will be discussed.
FRIDAY (Day 1)
8.30 am – 9.00 am: Breakfast (provided), registration, get acquainted
9.10 am – 11.00 am: Lecture on advance implant cases
11.00 am – 11.15 am: Break
11.15 am – 12.30 pm: Lecture on advanced implant cases
12.30 pm – 1.30 pm: Lunch (provided)
1.30 pm – 3.00 pm: Lecture on photogrammetry, date acquisition
3.00 pm – 3.15 pm: Break
3.15 pm – 5.00 pm: Digital workflow in full arch implant reconstruction
SATURDAY (Day 2)

9.10 am – 11.00 am: Hands-on placement of implants on resin model.
11.00 am – 11.15 am: Break
11.15 am – 12.30 pm: Hands-on fabrication of conventional conversion prosthesis
12.30 pm – 1.30 pm: Lunch (provided)
1.30 pm – 3.00 pm: Hands-on photogrammetry on implants placed capturing data (i-metric
photogrammetry, TRIOS scanning
3.00 pm – 3.15 pm: Break
3.15 pm – 5.00 pm: Hands-on design of full arch implant reconstruction (merging data, design on
Exocad)
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Ø By the end of the course participants will be able to:
Ø Understand the potential and limitations of photogrammetry
Ø Have an exposure to digital workflow for full arch implant reconstruction
Ø Fabricate an immediate PMMA or printed prosthesis
Ø Treatment plan full arch implant cases with a digital workflow
Ø Merge conventional analogue workflow with digital workflow
Ø Understand Current treatment concepts in full arch implant reconstruction
Ø Obtain an insight on current and classic literature on full arch implant reconstruction
Ø Get an introduction to pterygoid implant placement and restoration
Ø Get an introduction to advanced digital design of full arch implant cases
